Project Nook

  • Project NOOK provides e-readers to Phoenix Public Library customers.
  • NOOKs may be borrowed for 21 days and may not be renewed. Overdue fees apply. The device must be returned to the service desk of the library from which it was borrowed. Do not return it in the bookdrop.
  • NOOKs that are not returned will be deactivated. Customers will be billed for damage, loss or non return of the NOOK and/or peripherals, including easel cover and power kit (power adaptor and USB cable).
  • You cannot place a hold on a NOOK.
  • Children under 12 years of age may not check out a NOOK.
  • You must have a valid library card to borrow one. You may obtain a card at any of our 17 locations. Library cards are free to Maricopa County residents.
