Jill's It's Not the End of the World... Or Is It?: Dystopias Old and New List

Meet Jill:  I'm Jill.  I've worked for the Phoenix Public Library for more than 20 years.  My favorite activities are reading stories, telling stories and talking to adults and children about books.  Oh, and did I mention I love adventure!

  Where are we going and what will happen when we get there?  Why are so many authors preoccupied by the image of a dark and dangerous future world?  Dystopias could be a glimpse into the unknown or a mirror of events we are already experiencing here and now.
