Mesquite Library features a "Best Picks" collection with popular movies and bestselling books, a First Five Years/Los Primeros Cinco Años interactive learning space for families with young children, Teenth Dimension -- a special "teen only" area, WiFi and Internet-accessible public computers. Regularly scheduled storytimes are conducted for children and families.

Public Art
"Whirlpath" by Lew Alquist is a terrazzo surface featuring a whirl design on the floor of the exterior garden patio.  It was funded by the Phoenix Arts Commission's Public Art Program.
