Census 2020 Photo of a smiling family

As a public library dedicated to our customers and communities, we know how important it is that our country successfully complete a decennial census effort. Every 10 years, the U.S. Census Bureau undertakes a mammoth task: counting all the people living in the United States. This count affects the distribution of funding for our community's resources, how we plan for the future, and our voice in government. Your response to the 2020 Census will help inform how more than $20 billion in federal funding each year is distributed to Arizona's communities for education and school programs, emergency services, health care, transportation improvements, parks and recreational services, federal student loan programs and more. For the first time, in 2020, the U.S. Census Bureau will accept online responses with a quick and secure process.

Learn more about what to expect by visiting iCount2020.info and count for your community by participating in the census.
