Phoenix Public Library offers a wealth of health and wellness resources to help you achieve your health goals. Whether you want to research a specific condition or are interested in improving your health and wellness overall, the Library has a resource that is right for you, including:

How do you deal with stress in your life? How do you prevent it? Working through the lessons in this free online class will help you understand the origins of your stress and provide you with a practical approach for reducing stress in your life and, thus, improving your health and emotional well-being.

 

For Parents

Literacy Screenings

Take 30 minutes to help your child (kindergarten through 3rd grade) read on grade level. Specially trained staff will screen your child for free to determine their reading level. If your child is not reading on grade level, they will offer suggestions, activities, and materials for you to use with your child. Referral information will be made available to those families whose child may need additional assistance.
