Many Phoenix Public Library locations offer book clubs for customers to join.

Online Book Clubs

The Reading Room is an online book club where "passionate readers find, buy and discuss books."

Online Book Club is an Internet community for book lovers. The site includes book reviews and recommendations as well as interactive book discussions. Readers will read both classics and new releases.

Oprah's Book Club is a popular book club that can have online or in-person participation in an organized book club. Take a look at Oprah's Book Club 2.0, the newest phase of her book club or the classic Oprah's Book Club for ideas of what to read. Check out the original Oprah Book Club selections list

Spaghetti Book Club is a website where kids can write book reviews and read book reviews by other kids.

Goodreads is a reader's social networking site where reviews can be written, read and shared. This online community includes an annual reading challenge, a reader-created booklist section, author events and online book clubs including one for teens.

Bookclubz is a tool for book clubs to coordinate membership, schedule meetings, track RSVPs, send messages, rate books, create a library, and get inspiration for future book club reads.

Lets readers sign up for a free account. Customers can  get recommendations on what to read based on their reading history.  You can also see what your friends are reading once they sign up.  You can search for books by subject.

Bookspot
Free resource that includes bestsellers, book awards, book reviews, online books, first chapters, and reading lists.

Modern Library's Top 100
Includes the top 100 best (fiction and non-fiction), the top 100 non-fiction and the 100 best novels.  A bit dated but great to peruse if you are looking to read some forgotten classics.
