Voices: CreativesGraphic creativity image

Communities are comprised of a diversity of experiences and perspectives and the voices that emerge from those experiences and perspectives. We believe that these voices make for a richer, more meaningful experience for all.

Join Phoenix Public Library in enjoying and learning from the many voices of our community through monthly themes meant to educate, entertain and inspire.

Human beings are naturally driven to create and the New Year is often a good time to start with a clean slate from which creativity can flourish for those with a creative itch. Whatever you are hoping to create, we are here to help with the shared experiences of fellow creatives from all over. This month, we are celebrating the diverse and inspirational voices of creative people. We hope that dipping into their experiences and considering their words of wisdom will help you to grow into and feed the creativity you have within you. Mix it up a lot or a little. It's your year.

See below for resources, books, and films that capture the many voices of those who create and who want to inspire those who create.
