State of Deception: First Hand Accounts from the Holocaust

Phoenix Public Library hosts "State of Deception: The Power of Nazi Propaganda," a traveling exhibition from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum February 20 - June 1, 2014 at Burton Barr Central Library. It is a thought-provoking exploration of Nazi propaganda that challenges visitors to think critically about the messages we receive today. Located in the second floor reading room of Central Library, it is free and open to the public all the hours the library is open.

Collection of Holocaust Testimonies - DVDs

Phoenix Public Library is privileged to have a collection of DVDs from the University of Southern California Shoah Foundation Institute's Visual History Archive. These DVDs record the testimonies of Holocaust survivors who live, or have lived, in the Phoenix area. They were donated to the Library through the generosity of the Benjamin Goldberg Trust.
