Summary:
Abel is a nine year old boy committed to a mental hospital due to his odd behavior. His mother Cecilia is convinced that the best thing for her son is to come back home. Cecilia convinces the doctor to let Abel spend a week with his family. During that time she will try to prove that it's not necessary for him to be transfered to a hospital in Mexico City. With an absent father, Abel will become an orthodox parental figure that will unite his family, until his real father actually comes home.
