Summary:
Set on The Shiloh Ranch in the Wyoming Territory in the 1890s, The Virginian is the story of the foreman of the ranch, known as The Virginian, and his quest to maintain an orderly lifestyle at Shiloh. The Virginian was set in the semi-mythical town of Medicine Bow, Wyoming in the 1890s and chronicled the lives and relationships of the people who came west and settled the wild land.
