Summary:
A hypnotically languorous road movie with an upbeat political kick. The story follows a smalltime traveling sideshow which includes Ciço, a recent addition. A poor villager with a pregnant wife, he has fallen in love with the exotic dancer Salomé. In the end, the troupe heads down dusty roads facing increasing disinterest and social change in Brazil.
