| Join landscape photographer, travel writer and director of Grand Canyon Field Institute Mike Buchheit as he shares the scenery and science of the national park he has called home for the past fourteen years.
The images in Buchheit's portfolio reflect an intimacy with the Grand Canyon only a full-time resident, two-thousand-mile backpacker and frequent river runner could enjoy. Through his photography, Buchheit hopes to inspire in others a deeper appreciation for the Grand Canyon and foster a sense of stewardship for public lands. His writing and photography credits include Backpacker Magazine, Phoenix Home & Garden, Arizona Highways and Travel Weekly.
