Free Literacy Screenings for 1st - 3rd Grade Students

If you have concerns about your child's reading skills, we can help! Specially trained staff will screen your child to determine their reading level. If your child is not reading on grade level, they will offer suggestions, activities, and materials for you to use with your child. Referral information will be made available to those families whose child may need professional assistance.

The last appointment starts at 12:30 p.m. In addition, Phoenix Public Libraries have books organized by reading levels and handouts available full of tips for parents to help their child become better readers. For more information call (602)262-4636.
