Bring your family to visit the remarkable collection of original art and award-winning children's books exemplifying the history and cultures of Arizona. The collection includes Navajo Artist Shonto Begay's eight-foot wide acrylic painting on canvas, My Story Rock II, and beloved children's book author Marguerite Henry's original manuscript of Brighty of the Grand Canyon, together with Wesley Dennis's illustrations of this award winning classic. These and other items from the historic collection will be on display in the Children's Place and on the 4th Floor of the Burton Barr Central Library to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Arizona's statehood.
