January 9 - Benito Cereno, a novella by Herman Melville.

January 23 - The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte P. Gilman and The Catbird Seat by James Thurber.

Note: Selections are taken from collected works published by Great Books. You may also find these short story selections in collected works by the author. Readings from Citizens of the World will be provided to us by Bob Unferth in advance of our discussion. Additional short readings by members may follow our Short Story Omnibus selection.
