One of the oldest literary genres, the child's alphabet book served as inspiration for a selection of alphabet books from our Rare Book Room Collection. Come to the 1st floor of Burton Barr Central Library for the display, and absorb the collision of art and culture in gorgeous visual format. Works range from the iconic illustrations of a 19th century accidental children's fashionista to 21st century Vermont farm-inspired woodcuts.
