How to Sign Up for User Profile
You can create a username/password by logging into your account using Option A (Library card number and last name). After you login, select the "Update My Account" link located on the left side of the "My Account" page and then select the "My Username/Password" link. Creating a username and password enables the following benefits:
- You can use your username and password instead of your library card when placing holds, accessing databases, renewing items, and checking your Library card account. Please note, you must have your Library card present when picking up items.
- You manage your password yourself. The Library does not have access to your account credentials.
A username and password is a completely voluntary feature of the Library website. The Phoenix Public Library does not issue usernames and/or passwords. Please use the "Forgot Password" link located on the login page if you require assistance with resetting your password. Please remember, you can always access your information and other Library services with a valid Library card number and last name.
