​Managing Your Payroll Taxes

In this presentation... we'll discuss your responsibilities as an employer to identify wages that are subject to employment taxes; we'll explain the difference between an accountable plan and a non-accountable plan; and we'll show you how to calculate your payroll taxes using the appropriate method. We will also discuss the employment tax rules for wages and other types of compensation, as well as, how to make a payroll tax deposit.

Small Business Taxes and Tax Forms

This workshop will provide an overview of Form1040, Schedule C, Profit of loss from Business, and discuss how to calculate gross profit and gross income. We'll show you how to identify and deduct expenses, as well, discuss how to calculate net profit or loss and discuss which schedules to file. Also, some areas on Form 1040 will be highlighted, Us individual Income Tax return, that may be of interest to small business owners and a discussion on self-employment tax and estimated tax.
