| WHAT: | Media Invitation to Dinner in the Stacks Members of the media are invited to cover Phoenix Public Library Foundation and the Friends of Phoenix Public Library's 20th annual fundraiser, Dinner in the Stacks, honoring the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.
The Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community is being recognized for its continuing commitment to children's literacy. Through grants totaling more than $100,000 over the past six years, the Community has supported the library's winter reading program "Catch BookBreath @ your library." During this period, more than 120,000 children and their families have participated in the program, ensuring a lifelong love for books and reading. |
