WHAT: INVITATION TO GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR SOUTH MOUNTAIN COMMUNITY LIBRARY
The new 50,000-square-foot facility, scheduled to open for the fall semester of 2011, will feature a children's story room, large community meeting room, teen space, WiFi, study rooms, 131 public computers with Internet access, patio spaces and a new collection of newspapers and magazines, books, DVDs and CDs. The library will be operated jointly by Phoenix Public Library and South Mountain Community College.

WHERE: Festivities will take place in the east parking lot off the main entrance at 7050 South 24th Street, just north of Baseline Road.
