Stressed about your upcoming ACT or SAT? Can't make it to a class or get your hands on a book? Not to worry! Phoenix Public Library has the online tools you need to go into your exam with confidence.

You will need a library card to access the resources below. Don't have a library card? Find out more about obtaining a Phoenix Public Library card.


LearningExpressLibrary

For ACT preparation:

• Log in with your library card.
• On the left side of the page, click on "College Preparation."
• Click on "ACT Preparation." 
• Each of these links, "ACT English Practice Tests," "ACT Math Practice Tests," "ACT Reading Practice Tests," "ACT Science Practice Tests" and "ACT Writing Practice Tests" will take you to a series of practice tests from which to choose. "ACT Preparation Courses and Guides" will take you to a number of additional resources.
• You can add a practice test of your choice by clicking on the green plus sign on the right side of the page.
• To access the practice test, you must create a LearningExpressLibrary account or log into an already-existing account.  This account is separate from your library card account.
• Once you've added a practice test to your account, you may begin accessing it.

For SAT preparation:     

• Log in with your library card.
• On the left side of the page, click on "College Preparation."
• Click on "SAT Preparation." 
• Each of these links, "SAT Critical Reading Practice Tests," "SAT Math Practice Tests," "SAT Writing Multiple-Choice Practice Tests," and "SAT Writing Practice Essays" will take you to a series of practice tests from which to choose. "SAT Preparation Courses and Guides" will take you to a number of additional resources.

• Pull down the "College Prep Tools" menu.
• Select "ACT."
• From here, you can find out more about the ACT, take one of 3 online practice tests, take an online course with personalized instruction on the ACT, read online books, and connect to a number of other resources regarding the ACT.
• To access the practice tests, online course, online books and more, you must create a Testing & Education Reference Center account or log into an already-existing account.  This account is separate from your library card account.
• Once you've logged into your Testing & Education Reference Center account, you may begin accessing the tools you are interested in.

For SAT preparation:

• Log in with your library card.
• Pull down the "College Prep Tools" menu.
• Select "SAT."
• From here, you can find out more about the SAT, take one of 3 online practice tests, take an online course with personalized instruction on the SAT, read online books, and connect to a number of other resources regarding the SAT.
• To access the practice tests, online course, online books and more, you must create a Testing & Education Reference Center account or log into an already-existing account.  This account is separate from your library card account.
• Once you've logged into your Testing & Education Reference Center account, you may begin accessing the tools you are interested in.
• To access SAT Subject Test preparation material, follow the steps above but instead of selecting "SAT" from the "College Prep Tools" drop-down menu, select "SAT Subject Tests."
