Salt River Project customers in Phoenix can obtain a "Kill a Watt" meter from certain Phoenix Public Library locations.  The device measures the amount of energy used by an appliance, including refrigerators/freezers, fans, computers/printers, video gaming systems, televisions, microwaves, clocks, stereos, lights, phone chargers, coffee makers and other items that plug into a 120-volt AC outlet.
