Phoenix Public Library, Phoenix, AZ. -- February 14, 2012 -- College Depot, located on the second floor of Burton Barr Central Library at 1221 N. Central Ave., will host 5 free workshops in March.

Understanding Financial Aid + FAFSA Lab
5:30-6:45 p.m. Thursday, March 1
Learn about grants, loans, work study and scholarships. Followed by work on Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on College Depot computers.

Searching for Scholarships + Hands-on Lab (offered twice this month):
9:30-11:00 a.m.Saturday, March 3
2:00-3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 14
Get tips on searching for scholarships and put what you've learned to the test in a hands-on computer session.

Prepare for the ACT and SAT
5:30-6:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 6
Learn the difference between the ACT and SAT, and find out how to best prepare for these tests.

How to Pay for College (offered in Spanish)
6:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 20
Learn how to pay for college with financial aid and scholarships.

College Depot is a full-service college planning center that offers free one-on-one assistance, family consultation and workshops on all aspects of the college planning process, from financial aid to career exploration. The service is open to anyone seeking assistance with planning for college.
