Phoenix Public Library, Phoenix, AZ. -- March 29, 2012 -- College Depot, located on the second floor of Burton Barr Central Library at 1221 N. Central Ave., will host 5 free workshops in April.

Understanding Financial Aid
6:00-7:00 p.m.—Thursday, April 5
Learn about grants, loans, work study and scholarships.

Organizational Skills to Get You Through College
5:30-6:45 p.m.—Tuesday, April 17
Learn goal setting, time management, study skills, note-taking and some techniques to simplify
your college experience.

How to Pay for College (offered in Spanish)
10:00-11:00 a.m.—Saturday, April 21
Learn how to pay for college with financial aid and scholarships.

Searching for Scholarships + Hands-on Lab
5:30-6:45 p.m.—Tuesday, April 24
Get tips on searching for scholarships and put what you've learned to the test in a hands-on
computer session.

Finding Your College Fit
6:00-7:00 p.m.—Wednesday, April 25
Jessica Sharkey will help you learn how to select the best college for you.

College Depot is a full-service college planning center that offers free one-on-one assistance, family consultation and workshops on all aspects of the college planning process, from financial aid to career exploration. The service is open to anyone seeking assistance with planning for college.
