Phoenix Public Library, Phoenix, AZ. -- May 08, 2012 -- Phoenix Public Library and Maricopa County Library District present [un]BookFest 1:30 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 26 at Burton Barr Central Library, 1221 N. Central Ave.

Authors Ellen Hopkins, Barry Lyga, Lisa McMann, Matt de la Peña, Stephanie Perkins and A.S. King will sign books and participate in hands-on workshops for teens. The indie band "No Longer Together" will perform. Participants will also have a chance to win tickets to Phoenix ComiCon.

This free event is for teens, ages 12 to 18, but parents and family members are welcome. Books will be available for purchase on-site from Changing Hands Bookstore.

Ellen Hopkins is the New York Times bestselling author of several series of young adult novels, including Crank, Burned and Impulse. Lisa McMann is the New York Times bestselling author of the Wake Trilogy and The Unwanteds series.
