Phoenix Public Library Hosts Author Dana Stabenow Feb. 17   Print this page Print this page
Phoenix Public Library, Phoenix, AZ. -- January 20, 2009 -- Mesquite Library will host a free reading with best-selling author Dana Stabenow from noon - 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 4525 Paradise Village Parkway North.

Stabenow is the author of 20 novels including the Kate Shugak series and an acclaimed travel writer for Alaska magazine. An Alaska native who was raised on a 75-foot fish tender in the Gulf of Alaska, she currently resides in Anchorage. A signing of her latest novel, "Whisper to the Blood," will follow the program.

The author reading is sponsored by the Friends of the Phoenix Public Library, Mesquite Chapter, The Poisoned Pen and St. Martin's Press.
