Phoenix Public Library Presents Arizona Women: From Saints to Sinners   Print this page Print this page
Phoenix Public Library, Phoenix, AZ. -- January 28, 2009 -- Burton Barr Central Library will present "Arizona Women: From Saints to Sinners," a free lecture hosted by Arizona State Library History and Archives Division Director Dr. Melanie Sturgeon, from 7 - 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 1221 N. Central Ave.

Sturgeon will talk about the fascinating and resourceful women who influenced the development of Arizona as reflected in the official, and sometimes unofficial, record of the state's history.

This is the final lecture in the "AZest for the West" series which is supported with funds granted by the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records Agency under the Library Services and Technology Act, which is administered by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
