Phoenix Public Library, Phoenix, AZ. -- August 05, 2009 -- Kids from all over the Valley can cool down and enjoy a frosty free treat when the Wimpy Kid Ice Cream Truck visits two Phoenix Public Library branch locations Tuesday, Aug. 11.

The Wimpy Kid Ice Cream Truck (http://tiny.cc/KpMVK) will distribute individually-wrapped ice cream bars at the following locations:

• Agave Library, 23550 N. 36th Ave.
  10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Aug. 11

• Cesar Chavez Library, 3635 W. Baseline Road
  2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11

Author Jeff Kinney's New York Times best-selling "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" book series debuted in April 2007. "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules," the second book, was released in January 2008, and the third book, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw," was released in Jan. 2009. The fourth book, "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days," comes out October 12, 2009.
