Phoenix Public Library, Phoenix, AZ. -- October 09, 2009 -- The WrestleMania Reading Challenge, a program designed to encourage reading among teens and tweens in grades 5-12, is coming to Phoenix Public Library.

Between October 18, 2009 and January 19, 2010, teens and tweens are invited to take the challenge and read a total of 10 books, graphic novels or magazines and then design a bookmark with a slogan that encourages reading. The bookmark designs of three finalists in each of three categories (grades 5-6, grades 7-8 and grades 9-12) will be entered in a juried national competition, the winners of which will receive tickets to WrestleMania XXVI in Glendale in March 2010.

The WrestleMania Reading Challenge is sponsored by World Wrestling Entertainment and the Young Adult Library Services Association with support from Mattel. Official rules, a booklog and bookmark form can be downloaded at http://tinyurl.com/b23xws.
