Phoenix Public Library Exhibits "Psychological Images of Sophistication and Quirk" Nov. 10 - Jan. 3

Burton Barr Central Library will host an exhibit by Corinne Geertsen, titled "Psychological Images of Sophistication and Quirk," Nov. 10 - Jan. 3 at the library's @Central Gallery, 1221 N. Central Ave.
A free artist reception, hosted by the Friends of the Phoenix Public Library, will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. during the First Friday art walk on Dec. 4. Each of Geertsen's digital paintings illustrates a parable. Working with collected images, family and personal photographs and drawings, Geertsen seamlessly combines multiple media to create quirky visual narratives. Geertsen holds a bachelor's and a master's of fine arts from Brigham Young University. Phoenix Public Library is a system of 15 branch libraries and the Burton Barr Central Library.
