Harmon Library Celebrates Grand Opening
The new Harmon Library officially opened for business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009. The new 12,300-square-foot facility features a children's story room, community meeting room, teen space, wireless Internet access, study rooms, more than 25 computers for public use, patio spaces and a new collection of newspapers and magazines, books, DVDs and CDs. The project was funded by the 2006 Citizens Bond Program.

Located at 1325 S.5th Ave., the new Harmon Library facility features a children's story room, community meeting room, teen space, wireless Internet access, study rooms, more than 25 computers for public use, patio spaces and a new collection of newspapers and magazines, books, DVDs and CDs.
