What are you making today?

Visit MACH1 on the 4th floor of Burton Barr Central Library to explore all our programs and services.
MACH1 is open from 1-8 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Drop by and make something or attend one of our programs!

We offer FREE programs for every age on topics including Video Game Design, Coding, Video Editing, Science, Astrobiology, Robotics and more! We even provide the supplies - you may bring your own materials if you choose.

Most programs are first come, first served, but some require registration.

Here's a sample of what we've been doing in MACH1.

We'll do a new, fun experiment every week! Join us to learn how birds communicate, how to make a duct tape creation or how to wire a dimple circuit.  For scientists, 8 - 14 years old.

For girls ages 8-18. Girls can explore web building, app building, coding and more in a fun and social environment. Long term projects and drop ins welcome!
