Phoenix Public Library announces Burton Barr Central Library will reopen to the public Saturday, June 16 at 9 a.m.
The day will focus on services, programs and resources offered to the community with free, family-friendly programs such as:
9 a.m. - noon
Children's Place, First Floor
Storytimes, a Fairytale Princess visit, activity stations and Magician Eric Giliam performs at 11 a.m.
Noon - 3 p.m.
Drop by the Rare Book Room and print a keepsake on our century-old Washington Handpress.
2 - 4:30 p.m.
Join us in MACH1 for signature STE/AM programs such as Coding Cantina, Build a Droid, 3D modeling and more.
3 - 4:30 p.m.
The Accidental Crafter
Join us in MACH1 and make fun crafts specifically for the "reluctant crafter." Adults only please.
Visit the newly restored @Central Gallery
The reopening of Burton Barr Central Library will mark the closure of Phoenix Public Library @ Park Central's temporary location, effective 5 p.m. Friday, June 8.
A book drop will be available at the Park Central location through Sunday, June 17.
College Depot will continue to provide services at the Emmett McLoughlin Community Training & Education Center through June 15 and will reopen at Burton Barr Central Library on Saturday, June 16.
