​Library Advisory Board

The Phoenix Public Library Advisory Board, consists of seven members, each serving a staggered three-year term. Members are nominated by the Mayor of Phoenix and appointed by the Phoenix City Council. The Library Advisory Board serves in an advisory role, providing information and making recommendations to the Phoenix City Librarian, Mayor and City Council on matters of library-related public concern.  

To apply for appointment to the Library Advisory Board or another City Board or Commission, please complete an application.

The Library Advisory Board endorses the American Library Association's Library Bill of Rights (en español), Freedom to Read Statement (en español) and Freedom to View Statement (en español).
