It is with an overabundance of caution that Phoenix Public Library, in conjunction with the City of Phoenix, is cancelling all classes, programs, meetings and events at all Phoenix Public Library locations effective March 13, 2020 until further notice.
Study Rooms at Library Locations
Rooms must be reserved in person except as noted and where
Burton Barr Central Library
- 4 study rooms; each room accommodates 4 or fewer people. Note: information about room use limits available on the
- 2 study rooms for no more than 2 people; and 2 study rooms for 8 or fewer people; white boards available
Cesar Chavez Library
.- 1 study room, accommodating 4 or fewer people
- 2 study rooms; each room accommodates 4 or fewer people.
Desert Broom Library
- 1 study room, accommodating 4 people; white board available.
- 2 study rooms, each accommodating 4 or fewer people; white board available.
Ocotillo Library and Workforce Literacy Center
- 1 study room, accommodating 6 or fewer people; 2-hour maximum
South Mountain Community Library
- 9 study rooms; each room accommodates 6 or fewer people. Reserve a study room in person or by calling 602-243-8187.
Online Reservations for Study Rooms at Select Locations
Reservations may be made up to two weeks in advance.
Individuals or groups may reserve a study room for a
one- or two-hour period with a maximum of three reservations per day and no more than a total of
six reservations in a 14-day period.
Customers sharing a study room are considered a group and these limits apply to the entire group.
If an individual or group has not claimed the study room within 15 minutes of their scheduled reservation, the room may be booked by another customer. Reservations begin and end on the half hour or hour.
Make Your Reservation
Search for available times by choosing from the three drop-downs on the page: the number of people in your group, the length of time that you would like the room (up to a total of two hours), and the general timeframe in which you'd like the room (now, any time, morning, afternoon, evening). Click on "Search."
Depending on study room availability, you will be presented with various locations where study rooms may be reserved.

Fill in the required Registration Information, including First Name, Last Name, and Email Address*. You may also submit your phone number to receive a text confirmation of your reservation
Click on "Call Dibs!"
*If you do not have an email address, you may use your name (firstname.lastname@example.org) in order to complete your reservation.
