Beginning in 2002, the Phoenix Public Library and the Phoenix Museum of History embarked on a project to preserve and make available their collections of Arizona historical images. The Phoenix Museum of History has since closed its doors and, currently, the only way to access this collection is by contacting the Arizona Science Center.

The images in the collection span the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries and include items from the James H. McClintock Collection. The project was supported with funds granted by the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records Agency under the Library Services and Technology Act administered by the Institute of Museum and Library Sciences.
The photographs throughout the collection are protected by copyright; however images are available for purchase.

Arizona Science Center
