If you're interested in independent, international, classic, or documentary films, you're in luck. Get out your library card and sign up for Kanopy, the Library's newest on demand video streaming service.

You can stream over 30,000 films from hundreds of popular producers such as The Criterion Collection, The Great Courses, and PBS, as well as thousands of independent filmmakers - on every topic imaginable.

Go to Kanopy and click on the orange "Add Library Card" button. Add your library card number and password associated with your library account. This is the same password you use to check out items in the library.
Create an account by entering your first and last name, an email address, and a password and then click on the orange "Sign up" button. You choose the password for your account. This password is not the same as your library card password.
After creating your account, you'll receive a verification email in your inbox. Click on the link in this email to verify your email address.

If you run out of tickets there are also six credit-free collections you can watch. They are Favorites, Easy Watching. Episodic Series, British Cinema, World Cinema, and Diversity.
