It's thoughtful, cozy, and tackles the question of an individual's purpose in a way that feels relatable, leaving the reader with a sense of hope. It's also one of the few Sci-fi books that is set in a future that isn't all doom and gloom, but settles in a future that is better off then its past. I'd recommend this book to anyone that wants to slow down and re-energize themselves, or anyone that likes to ponder the big questions.

- Erin E.

https://catalog.phoenixpubliclibrary.org/search/searchresults.aspx?ctx=1.1033.0.0.35&type=Advanced&term=A%20Psalm%20for%20the%20Wild-Built&relation=ALL&by=TI&term2=chambers&relation2=ALL&by2=AU&bool1=AND&bool4=AND&limit=&sort=RELEVANCE&page=0&searchid=1

The first thing that captured my interest was the gorgeous graphic on the front of a woman's face peeking through a garden of deep, inklike purple flowers. After reading the jacket I was only hooked even more. The Garden Girls is set along North Carolina's lighthouse-lined coast, where FBI Agent Tiberius Granger is confronted by his past while trying to catch a serial killer with an obsession with flowers before they claim another victim. The characters' backstories and growth, along with the plot development kept me entertained and engaged the entire time. I'm usually quick to pick up on foreshadowing clues, yet this book had many twists and turns that kept me guessing and on the edge of my seat until the very end. This is the third installment in the FBI: Strange Crimes Unit series but can still be read as a standalone.
