College Depot at Burton Barr Central Library provides free year-round programming targeting various topics of the college planning process such as creating a college timeline, preparing scholarship essays, and applying for financial aid. 

During the academic School year:
Workshops on various topics including college exploration, financial aid, scholarship searching, and more are presented free of charge and open to the public. Registration is required for some programs as seating might be limited.

FAFSA Assistance 
FAFSA Assistance is provided to students and their families through specialized programming to assist with the FAFSA application and creating FSA IDs through hands-on small groups and workshop sessions during the peak financial aid season. Registration is required for some programs as seating might be limited. 

 
During the summer:
Summer Camps
Free Summer Camps for students entering 9th-12th grades are offered every summer.  Students will meet and spend time with their peers, and learn valuable information about various topics including college preparation, college exploration, financial aid, scholarship searching, and more. They will also hear from guest speakers, play games, and have fun! College Depot will provide snacks. Registration is required as seating might be limited. f you or your student will be in the 11th or 12th grade in Fall 2019, live in the city of Phoenix, and are interested in a career in public service, also consider the JEM Leadership Academy, which will occur during July of 2019. View the flyer from the 2018 JEM for more details, here.

Collegepalooza
Collegepalooza is
 a new, free annual summer College Prep Workshop specifically designed College Freshmen. It is a hands-on and interactive workshop for students starting at a community college or university in the fall. We will cover all the essentials you need to prepare you for a phenomenal first year of college. Topics include: understanding your financial aid, how to get CHEAP books and pick the BEST classes, a crash-course in college life, and much more. College Depot Programming Request: 

If you are part of an educational organization and would like College Depot to present to or otherwise contribute to one of your organization's events our would like us to provide a presentation at our location, please fill out this request form. College Depot supports our community partners and we will make our staff available for education related events and programming when possible. The date and type of request might determine College Depot staff availability. Please allow up to 5 business days for a response. Requests are handled on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you have any questions feel free to call us at 602.261.8847 or email us at college.depot@phoenix.gov.
College Depot Workshop Room Reservation Request:
College Depot offers room reservations for three different sized rooms in our center. Room reservations are available to educational non-profit organizations. Please email college.depot@phoenix.gov or call 602.261.8847 for any questions.
