This workshop is for entrepreneurs seeking information on the basic legal considerations in starting a new business. Aspiring business owners will learn the various types of business entities, the steps in the incorporation process, and the common mistakes in creating and maintaining a corporate entity.

​Trademarks & Copyright Basics 

Copyright provides a way for artists, innovators and other entrepreneurial ventures to protect and monetize their creativity. This workshop, introduces copyright, licensing and copyright infringement. Learn the basics of trademarks, including what a trademark is, how to select a distinctive and federally register-able trademark and the difference between state and federal registration.

The business law series is presented by Chris Love, Senior Associate - Kewenvoyouma Law, PLLC.
