The @Central Gallery, located on the 1st floor of Burton Barr Central Library, is dedicated to supporting, sustaining, and strengthening the community by promoting local artists. The gallery's mission is to showcase a wide diversity of creative expression and create an opportunity for artists to exhibit and gain recognition in the community. It is open during regular library hours.
This photography exhibit features works from Michael Lundgren, a photographic artist whose work reflects our physical and spiritual relationship with the Earth. The artist created a photographic portfolio of architecturally-significant Phoenix buildings from the post-World War II era.This exhibit is on view at @Central Gallery, Burton Barr Central Library through September 5, 2025. This project was made possible by Historic Preservation Percent for Art Funds and was administered by the Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture Public Art Program.
