StartUpPHX is located on the second floor of Burton Barr Central Library​.​​

About the Space

StartUpPHX was developed in partnership with ASU Entrepreneurship & Innovation Group, City of Phoenix Community & Economic Development Department and Phoenix Public Library.

StartUpPHX programming was initially supported by the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

How Can I Use It?

StartUpPHX​ is a discovery space for business entrepreneurs, combining elements of a co-working space with expert library fact-finding services and resources.

At StartUpPHX, you will be able to:

  • meet other innovators and entrepreneurs to share ideas and work together to develop a business concept. 

  • receive one-on-one mentoring.

At StartUpPHX, you will also find:

  • experienced and knowledgeable library staff.

  • business programs, workshops, webinars, streaming videos, etc.

  • two public PCs to access our library databases and other online resources.

  • free WiFi.

  • business magazines and newspapers available on the 5th floor.
