Heat Relief InfoHeat Relief Info<div class="ExternalClass08403B83416249739954BDAE4817F642"><h3>Learn about what the City of Phoenix is doing for public heat relief​.<br></h3><p><br></p><h4>​Respite Centers and Cooling Centers<br></h4><p></p><a href="/locations/cholla" target="_blank">Cholla</a>, <a href="/locations/harmon" target="_blank">Harmon</a> and <a href="/locations/yucca" target="_blank">Yucca</a> Libraries' evening and nighttime Cooling Center services will end with their final shift for this summer on Monday, September 30.<br><br><p>With the record-setting high temperatures experienced this week and forecast for the upcoming week, the City of Phoenix Heat Relief team is responding accordingly. The Heat Relief Respite Center at <a href="/locations/burton-barr" target="_blank">Burton Barr Central Library</a> will remain open 24/7 for one additional week, through October 7​​.<br></p><p>City of Phoenix Heat Relief will also continue all other cooling center and hydration station locations (the cooling/hydration services all Phoenix Public Library locations have provided during this and previous summers) during normal business hours October 1​ ​through 7, ensuring cool space and water are available during the hottest parts of the day.
