Bunching onions prefer a soil with a pH of 6.2–6.8. </h4><h2>Direct Sowing<br></h2><h4>Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep, 1/4 inch apart in rows 2-3 inches wide.</h4><h2>Transplanting</h2><h4>Start seeds indoors 5-6 weeks before the last frost, maintaining a temperature of 59-68°F. Transplant seedlings 2-6 inches apart after the last frost. Space rows 6-24 inches apart. Keep soil consistently moist, especially during germination and early growth. </h4><h2> Harvest</h2><h4>Stop watering a week before harvest.
